When deciding to take a course of action concerning your personal health care decisions it is wise to sit down with your doctor and discuss the options. Never mix herbs and pharmaceuticals without the advice of a health care practitioner. Remember, herbs are considered drugs by definition just as prescription medication is a drug. It is also important to do some research yourself on herbs. Gathering information on the natural herbal medicine that you are considering taking is just as important as taking the time to learn about pharmaceutical medication before you take it.
